Horizon Line

Client: The Lofts at Altamonte Springs (direct)

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL

Scope: Cycle room interior installation

Project Type: Amenity Space Activation · Fitness & Wellness Interior

Style: Bold horizontal color blocking with geometric focal point

Ideal for: Fitness centers, amenity spaces, multifamily and hospitality interiors

A cycle room is one of the hardest amenity spaces to get right — functional by necessity, but with real potential to energize the resident experience if the design is considered. Working directly with The Lofts, Pure Hart Studio created a full-room color treatment that gives the space a sense of destination.

Horizontal bands of navy, teal, and warm sand wrap the room continuously, creating a horizon-like landscape that grounds the space without closing it in. A bold terracotta sun disc anchors the focal wall — the view every rider faces during a workout. Energizing without being aggressive. Purposeful without being loud.

It's a simple installation that demonstrates something important: placemaking doesn't require complexity. The right color, the right composition, the right scale — and a functional room becomes somewhere worth being.
