This mural had a cool challenge of an ask from our clients — to create a Catskills mountainscape scene for their guests (usually there to ski) that also incorporated Winnie the Pooh (their daughter’s fav) and a quote from the book, without messing with the chic ski lodge vibe they’ve cultivated, and also including the name/concept of the property, The Hensonville Honeypot.

(And also something that could be finished in 3 days with very limited colors)

We love a good challenge like this. While these elements may have seemed disparate, we have learned after 10 years of doing this that when the challenge is embraced wholeheartedly, it often produces a concept that feels special and unique - something that could only have resulted from a harmonious collaboration. It’s one of our favorite parts of this work ✨🏔️✨
